Sarah R.
I have been a patient at OB/GYN Associates of Attleboro since my teens, so it was my natural choice for obstetric care. In my first pregnancy, I actually thought I should consider my options and went to another hospital's practice, but I didn't feel supported the way I had been in Attleboro. I heard affirming stories from other moms who gave birth at Sturdy and decided that was where I wanted to be.
In my two pregnancies, I had some complications early on, and felt that my care providers all treated me as an individual, not just another patient with the same experience as everyone else. Toward the end of my first pregnancy, I went into the hospital weekly for Nonstress Tests (NST) and got to know the nursing staff well. It was then that I really knew I made the right choice because they were all so attentive and supportive. When the big day finally arrived, I was confident I was in safe hands. The second time around was very similar in that respect, but this time, I had done more prep work and loved that the doctors and nurses encouraged me and made me feel empowered to make choices, even as I approached 42 weeks.
The top-notch care is my main reason for recommending Sturdy to other obstetric patients, but I also love the fact that the rooms are LDRP, so they are nice and spacious. The hydrotherapy tub is also a hidden gem on that floor. My husband loves sharing the good news of the maternity breakfast buffet with friends considering Sturdy. We would not want to be anywhere else when bringing babies into this world!
