Department of Transportation Physicals
In keeping with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards, OHS is able to provide DOT physical exams with Certified Medical Examiners for commercial motor vehicle drivers.

Occupational Health Service at Sturdy Memorial Hospital is the oldest hospital-based occupational health service in the state of Massachusetts. As part of the hospital, we are backed by the services offered, including physical and occupational therapy, diagnostic testing, and off-hour emergency room injury treatment. This allows our OHS staff to follow the progress of an individual patient and access their treatment on a case-by-case basis.
It is our goal at OHS to coordinate the care and treatment of individual patients and get them back to work as quickly as possible using an aggressive, modified return-to-work program. This allows the injured employee to be a productive member of your workforce team while giving them the time needed to fully recover.
