From the first day of your diagnosis, through your treatment, recovery, and survivorship, your nurse navigator will guide you through the information, appointments, and emotions that accompany your diagnosis. What is a Nurse Navigator
- A nurse navigator is a clinically trained medical professional. At Sturdy, our nurse navigator is Oncology and Hospice/Palliative care certified with over 20 years of oncology nursing experience.
- A nurse navigator guides you through the cancer care continuum from diagnosis through survivorship.
- A nurse navigator acts as your central point of contact and coordinates all aspects of your cancer care (as needed), which can include surgical, medical, radiation, social work, education, community and financial support, and insurance assistance.
