The Breast Health Program at Sturdy Health provides patients with a highly personalized and compassionate approach to breast health. Our multi-disciplinary team brings together experts from radiology, pathology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and other specialties to streamline the patient experience.

In choosing Sturdy Health for your breast health, you'll have access to preventative care; state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostics; and treatment including skilled cancer surgery and reconstructive options, medical oncology and radiation treatments, as well as lifelong survivorship care. If you're diagnosed with breast cancer, you can find comfort in knowing that we follow the same standards of care for treatment that you will find at a larger cancer center, which means you'll receive the best care without having to travel far.

Screening, Imaging, and Diagnostics

Our physicians have the best medical tools available to better understand your breast health. Options for screening include:

  • Mammography
  • 3D Mammography (digital breast tomosynthesis)
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Breast MRI (offered at convenient locations close to the Hospital)
  • Pathology
  • Breast biopsy

Your physician will explain the best option for breast screening based on your personal needs. If further testing or biopsies are needed, our team will schedule a surgical consult within 72 hours to make sure all of your health concerns are addressed in a timely manner by our board certified surgeons and oncologists.

Navigation

Part of your treatment includes being assigned a nurse navigator to help you through the process. This person will be an important part of your care team, providing emotional and social support services.

Additionally, if you have been diagnosed with cancer, our Breast Cancer Tumor Board attended by physicians across the spectrum of breast cancer care will provide strong, evidence-based recommendations for your next steps.

Our goal is to empower you so that you may confidently move forward with your care plan with the knowledge and comfort that you will be receiving services which go above and beyond the standard of care.

Supportive Services

The Breast Health Program focuses on all aspects of your care. In addition to providing the best diagnosis and treatment options, we also provide you with supportive services that are designed to encourage you throughout your journey.
