Get to Know the Provider
How do you approach care?
I believe that patients deserve a thorough understanding of their disease process in a language they can easily understand. Only then can one expect them to actively participate in prevention or management of complex cardiovascular diseases. I like to spend time with my patients to ensure that they are well-informed healthcare consumers.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
Despite pressure from my parents to join our family business, I always wanted to be a doctor. I do not know why! Cardiology offers cutting edge technological advances, innovative tools to monitor complex disease processes, and yet offers an understanding into how lifestyle still plays a key role in disease management and prevention.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I like working in a small, close-knit community setting. Sturdy offers this and a collegial work environment.
What are your personal interests?
When I am not working, I like spending time with my two boys, gardening, and meditating.
