Get to Know the Provider
How do you approach care?
I listen to patients’ needs and work to create a safe treatment plan. This often requires multiple types of treatment. If we can avoid long term use of medication that is my hope. I work to introduce lifestyle changes that will help minimize their symptoms. Of course, there are cases where medication is needed. But perhaps only temporarily if the patient is willing to make lifestyle changes. I am happy to do frequent check ins and often the treatment plan is ever evolving.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I have always wanted to be a nurse. I enjoy health and wellness and enjoy helping people. After several years in the ICU setting, it became apparent that I wanted to further my formal education.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I love that this is a small network. Patients feel comfortable here and it is easy to collaborate with other providers within the network.
What are your personal interests?
Yoga, being outdoors, and spending time with my husband and two daughters. We have a cat named Eggo.
