Get to Know the Provider
How do you approach care?
Healthcare is a group effort. Much in the way it "takes a village" to raise a child successfully, it takes a community to optimize one's health. I believe that each individual has all the tools and resources available to them to make themselves healthier and I hope to be a guiding figure in each patient's life towards improved individual and community health.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
An interest in the sciences certainly lent itself nicely to a career in healthcare. Once I finished coursework, finding urology took some time. Urology ultimately came to me, rather than the other way around. Through networking I met a gentleman who was looking for an apprentice and was cut from the same cloth as I am. Our similarities in personality led to a great working relationship, and this doctor helped me grow into the provider I am today.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
Sturdy Health has offered me an avenue to become a truly valued member of the community. The "small-town" vibe allows for great friendships and working relationships to develop.
What are your personal interests?
I love the mountains. I spend time hiking and camping by summer and skiing by winter.
