Get to Know the Provider
How do you approach care?
By including the patient and their family in the evaluation and treatment plan. I like to get to know my patients and how I can motivate them to achieve their goals.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I learned about OT (PT and SLP) while volunteering at a local therapeutic riding center. I thought it was an amazing profession. They inspired me to want to help people. I have also always been interested in anatomy and physiology.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I chose Sturdy Healthcare as it is close to home and it is still a small community hospital. My Pepere was the head of maintenance for years, this was back when Sturdy was only a 15-bed facility!
What are your personal interests?
I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, traveling, skiing, and nature adventures.
