How do you approach care?
I strive for a holistic approach, involving patients and their families in the care plan. I assemble an integrated team of medical specialists, to streamline evaluation and treatment in an expedited and efficient manner.
How and why did you decide to enter the field of medicine and your particular specialty?
I enjoy helping and focusing on patients one at a time, and using a combination of manual, technical and intellectual tools to rapidly improve their health.
What do you find rewarding about your career?
I enjoy the challenge of figuring out the least invasive, safest, simplest approach to solving a complex problem.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy?
I look forward to joining an independent hospital with a progressive administration, and I welcome the opportunity to help lead the department of surgery to ever greater achievement.
How do you spend your free time?
My wife and two grown daughters are my pride and joy. I enjoy many recreational sports and I'm a pretty good cook!
