How do you approach care?
I approach care as a collaboration with my patients. I work with my patients to help them understand best recommendations for care and to help them achieve their health goals.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I have been interested in the health profession since I was very young. While in my bachelors program for nursing, I decided I wanted to become a nurse practitioner in primary care as I enjoyed interacting with patients and wanted the opportunity to see my patients more long term versus just a quick stay in the hospital setting.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I grew up in the Attleboro area so Sturdy has always felt familiar to me. Now in my professional career, I wanted the opportunity to work for a well established healthcare system and give back to my local community.
What are your personal interests?
I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with my family. I always have a book going and get many recommendations from my patients. My family and I love spending time together outdoors. We love a good beach day on Cape Cod!
