Get to Know the Provider
How do you approach care?
I work with the patient to ensure they have a thorough understanding of their condition and the treatment options. I take time to explain the risks and benefits of each option to empower them to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I decided to pursue a career in healthcare because I enjoyed learning about science in school and was especially curious to learn more about medicine. After spending much of my career in emergency medicine, I am now enjoying the change of pace, variety, and challenges that come with practicing in the urgent care.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I enjoy working with the enthusiastic, dedicated, and supportive team within Sturdy Health.
What are your personal interests?
I live with my husband, Rich, and our couch potato companion, a Shih-Poo named Ninja. I do my best to keep active, focusing on activities such as running and hiking. As a self-proclaimed 'foodie,' I love to explore new restaurants and culinary experiences. I am also an adventurous traveler, especially to places that offer natural beauty, and to discover other cultures and cuisines.
