Dr. Sonali Ayar is a board-certified pathologist and the Chief of Pathology at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ayar received her doctorate from Indira Gandhi Medical College in Nagpur, India and completed her residency at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She is a proud member of American Society of Clinical Pathology.
Dr. Ayar completed her fellowship in surgical pathology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, in Worcester, Massachusetts. She also completed a fellowship in onco-surgical pathology at the Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute in Ahmedabad, India.
