How do you approach care?
My approach to care is individualized and patient centered. I like to take into consideration not only their physical health, but their emotional, mental, and social well-being. I strive to establish a collaborative and trusting relationship with my patients. I aim to empower my patient to actively participate in their own care. We work together as a team to make healthcare decisions based on their own preferences, goals, and values.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I have spent a lot of time working in the ER and with admitted patients who are chronically sick. I wanted to start working on preventing illness and managing chronic conditions. Primary care allows me to provide preventative care to all age groups and also optimize treatment for chronic illness to increase the overall well-being of my patients.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I have always lived in the area that Sturdy Health serves. I am thrilled to work in a hospital system that has always been highly regarded in our community.
What are your personal interests?
My personal interests include spending time with my three kids, two rescue pups and getting to my gym on a regular basis. My partner and I enjoy dining at local small business restaurants in the area.
