How do you approach care?
Managing breast problems, including breast cancer, can be a very stressful and anxiety producing experience. I give my patients all the in-person time they need, and recommend seeing them as often as they need, until they are comfortable coming to a decision about treatment. I am then available to them as much as they need through the surgery, treatment and beyond. With clinical experience of greater than 35 years, much of it spent in academic surgery and teaching, I can provide all the latest treatment options and up-to-date care.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I find surgery to be the most satisfying specialty. I can often diagnose the problem the patient has and have the means of curing it fully.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
Sturdy Health can provide focused, personal care in the patient's neighborhood, minimizing the difficulties of large corporate partnerships, but with the ability to provide all up-to-date care.
What are your personal interests?
I enjoy family, skiing, and bicycling.
