How do you approach care?
My favorite part of pediatrics is following my patients from birth to adulthood. Forming a relationship with my patients and their families as they grow and develop. Being involved in their milestones is truly rewarding. I believe treatment in pediatrics involves both the patient and their family. During an appointment, patients can expect compassionate care from our whole team.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I have always loved children, I babysat and was a nanny growing up. This love of children combined with a dream of pursuing medicine led to a career in pediatrics.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I was finishing my residency in Chicago and looking to move back to the area where I grew up. I interviewed Dr. Berard and was excited to move to a new location at Pleasant Street with him in 2003.
What are your personal interests?
I love to travel. I enjoy being an active member of the community and watching local families grow through the years. I live locally with my husband and kids Evan and Emma and bulldog, Dexter.
