Sturdy Memorial Hospital Launches TeamBirth to Enhance Patience Experience During Labor and Delivery
ATTLEBORO, MA, APRIL 10, 2023 – Sturdy Memorial Hospital announced today the launch of TeamBirth, a new initiative to enhance the birthing experience and improve outcomes for people giving birth and their babies. TeamBirth is a communication and teamwork process that closes gaps in communication that challenge the safety and dignity of people giving birth. It was developed by Ariadne Labs, a joint center for health systems innovation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, MA.
To celebrate TeamBirth, Sturdy Memorial Hospital will be hosting a tour of their recently updated private birthing suites on Tuesday, April 11 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Weber Maternity Suites located within Sturdy Memorial Hospital. All are welcome to learn about the benefits of TeamBirth and meet the highly trained and dedicated team members of the Weber Maternity suite.
