With flu season approaching and COVID-19 still a public health concern, Sturdy Health is committed to ensuring our community has access to the most up-to-date, safe, and effective vaccines. Sturdy Health Medical Director of Population Health and Vaccines Owen G. Debowy, MD, PhD, advised that, “Vaccines not only protect you from getting sick, but also help reduce the spread of illness in our community, particularly to those who are most vulnerable — young children, the elderly, and people with chronic medical conditions. As a primary care doctor and pediatrician, I see firsthand the difference that timely vaccinations make.” Dr. Debowy also serves as vice chair of the Departments of Pediatrics and Medicine at Sturdy Health.
