To mark the 110th anniversary of our organization and our decades long growth and evolution from a hospital only to a fully-integrated health system, we evolved the name of our health system to Sturdy Health. As part of this process, we asked community members and our team members, clinicians, and physicians to tell us what they felt was important to be included in our mission and the values that we should continue to hold dear in the future.

While high quality care and compassion have always been central to Sturdy’s Mission, we put health and well-being front and center and acknowledged the importance of kindness and convenience — two strengths that we are known for today and are working to embody even more in the future.

Our Values:
As we analyzed the feedback from our team regarding the values they felt we must hold dear in the future, we were reminded that values are rarely lived out one at a time — the complexities of life require people and organization to honor and balance multiple important values at the same time. While not simple, our values are honest, and they make up the guardrails and guideposts that keep us moving forward on our S-shaped path to health.
